ARTHUR'S HAND SAWING SERVICE

Hand sawing, while very similar to wall sawing, involves the use of handheld saws that are equipped with diamond-tipped blades. Each saw has different cutting depths but can fit in tighter spots which allows us to make the same precise and accurate cuts in areas where space is limited.

There are many benefits to using these handsaws including the ease of use, portability, and ability to touch up spots that were too tight for our wall saw. These saws will also often be used to ensure that no over-cuts occur. A water hose attachment is included with all our hand sawing equipment to keep the dust levels low, allowing for a much cleaner work environment.

Oftentimes, these saws are used for enlarging or for the creation of new egress windows that are to code for basement apartments. In order for us to stay on schedule throughout our day, we ask that the area around the window is excavated prior to the arrival of our crew.

ARTHUR'S CONCRETE WALL SAWING

Wall sawing involves placing one of our diamond-tipped saw blades securely to our electric Hilti wall saw unit which is then placed on a track that has been securely fastened to the wall by the use of anchors.

The tracks can be fastened both horizontally or vertically which allows for various sized openings to be attained. Because of the excellent accuracy of the unit, our customers can expect a level, precise, and professional finish no matter what sort of wall sawing is required. The flush cut function allows us to cut flush against an existing wall or floor which is essential to use when precise cuts are needed against a nearby wall or pre-existing floor. We also have a variety of blades that are used for different depths so that we can assist you with all your cutting needs.

Because safety is our priority, our wall saw is operated by professionals who always maintain a safe distance while using the remote control with a cut-assist function.

ARTHUR'S FLOOR CONCRETE CUTTING

Arthur's Concrete Cutting & Coring offers concrete cutting in the G.T.A., including floor cutting. Floor sawing involves the use of our 40HP electric floor saw, also known as a slab saw, to cut floors as directed by the customer.

Our floor saw is operated by one of our experienced operators who begins by equipping the saw with a diamond-tipped blade.

The operator then controls the machine from behind while following the cutting guide which is located on the front of the saw. This allows for precise and quality cuts. Our floor saw also runs with the use of a water attachment which keeps dust levels low, allowing for a cleaner work environment.
